Workspace Installation and first launch
Prepare the app and understand how it works in the background.
Before you start
Workspace Launcher is a Windows application. Download the available version from the official website and check that download’s requirements. Install the tools you want to use; adding them to a workspace does not install them.
First launch
- Complete the first-run notices.
- Review your account or licence to link this computer.
- Check language, monitors and shortcuts in Settings.
- Use the welcome tour or Help.
The app includes its own layout manager; arranging windows does not require an external zone editor.
Windows startup and the tray
Under Settings → System, choose startup with Windows and starting minimised. The tray keeps controls available without keeping the main window open.
Starting the launcher does not launch a workspace
Leaving the app
Review cleanup and application-detachment options on exit. Minimising the main window, cleaning a workspace and exiting the launcher are separate actions.
Continue with your first workspace.
