Claps and keywords

In Settings → Acoustic, configure the microphone and actions. Claps associate a sequence with an action; keywords activate actions by voice when included in your plan. These are different from having a conversation with the assistant.

Calibrate before useCopy Anchor Link

1. Select the microphone you actually use.
2. Calibrate in your working environment.
3. Adjust sensitivity and detection if noise causes activations.
4. Assign a simple action and test recognition.
5. Enable close actions only after understanding their scope.

Listening and wake wordCopy Anchor Link

Check the microphone’s master control and listening state. The wake word is configurable: check your installation instead of assuming an older guide’s word. Turn listening off when you do not want acoustic activations.

Resolve recognition problemsCopy Anchor Link

Check the device, noise, language and recognition settings if a command is missed. Detecting an activation and transcribing speech are different steps for the user: some transcription providers need a configured connection. See connections and the voice assistant.
