Create and adjust workspaces with an AI assistant

Can an AI assistant set up my workspace for me on Windows?

A workspace you can try

Ask for "a meeting with my browser and notes on the second desktop". Check the detected items and proposed arrangement, correct what is wrong and save the workspace.

How to set it up

  1. Configure a provider and your plan options in the assistant settings.
  2. Describe the task: apps, documents, screens and what should stay visible.
  3. Review the draft: items, resources and arrangement.
  4. Confirm and save, then keep adjusting with the normal controls.

When it helps

For people who prefer to explain a setup in plain language than to build it item by item, and who want to review a proposal before anything is saved.

What to check first

A draft is not a final configuration until you confirm it, and AI does not install the apps a task needs. You choose what context the assistant can use. Documents, window titles or screenshots can be sent to the provider you configured when included, so share only what the request needs.

Questions before you start

Can I use my own AI provider or a local model?

The Ultimate plan lists support for your own API key (for example OpenAI or Anthropic) and for local models such as LM Studio. Check the plans section for current availability.

Does the assistant change things without asking?

You choose an autonomy level that decides which actions run directly and which you review first. Workspace drafts are reviewed before they are saved, and Undo is offered when available.
