What is Workspace Launcher Pro?
Workspace Launcher Pro, also called Workspace Launcher, is a Windows desktop app by Meltvest. It saves a workspace made of apps, browser tabs, folders and project resources together with their window positions, and reopens it with one click.
What problem does Workspace Launcher Pro solve?
It removes the repetitive setup of opening the same apps, tabs and folders and dragging windows into place every time you change task, restart your PC or connect a different monitor. You prepare the environment once, save it as a workspace and launch it whenever you need it.
Is there a free version of Workspace Launcher Pro?
Yes. Starter is free and includes up to 2 workspaces, 3 items per workspace and 1 custom layout. Plus removes the limits and Ultimate adds the AI assistant. Check the plans section for current features and availability.
Can it save the windows I already have open?
Yes. Capture turns your current desktop into a workspace: you review the detected apps, pages, folders and window positions, exclude what you do not want and save. You can also update an existing workspace from a new capture.
Does it work with several monitors, or a laptop plus an external screen?
Yes. You can assign each item to a monitor and keep several screen profiles for the same workspace, for example one for your laptop and another for your desk. When you connect or disconnect a screen the app can offer to restore the workspace with the matching profile.
Does restoring a workspace recover unsaved work?
No. It reopens configured resources and window positions. Save documents in their own apps; a workspace is not a backup of unsaved data or application memory.
