Workspace Guide
Windows and screens

Identify and organize monitors

Recognize each screen before assigning workspace windows.

Know which screen you are using

In Settings → Monitors, review detected screens. Use Identify to display a marker on each monitor and give them useful aliases such as Main, Portrait or Meetings. Refresh detection after connecting or disconnecting a screen.

Assign windows

When adding or rearranging an item, choose its monitor and then its position or zone. Check the result by launching the workspace. Portrait and landscape screens may need different layouts.

Identical screens

Two monitors of the same model can be difficult to distinguish if they do not provide unique identifiers. Use visual identification and the matching options for twin monitors. After changing cables or connections, review assignments before restoring an important task.

When your setup changes

Connecting a monitor does not automatically reposition every window. Review the notice or display profile, then launch or restore the workspace with the appropriate arrangement. If a screen is missing, check the adaptation proposal.
