Workspace Float and share windows
Keep a window visible or take it with you across desktops.
Two different needs
Float keeps a window above others so you can consult it while working. Sharing or pinning across desktops lets you see it when switching virtual desktops. These are separate controls; you may only need one.
Turn it on and off
Focus the desired window and run the corresponding action through your configured control. Run it again to disable it when it is a toggle action. Check shortcuts for your current combination.
When to use it
Float helps with a small reference or a call you want to keep visible. Sharing across desktops takes a resource with you when switching tasks. If the window covers useful content, resize it or disable the control.
Sharing may require a plan that includes this feature. Neither control saves the content of the window or replaces saving a workspace. To clear the screen without closing documents, read minimize and clean up.
