Snap windows to zones

1. Activate a layout for that monitor and desktop.
2. Drag the window by its title bar.
3. Hold the configured zone modifier while dragging; this is usually Shift.
4. Check the highlighted zone and destination preview.
5. Release the window to snap it.

The highlight shows the destination that will be applied. If your selection spans several zones, check the entire area before releasing. You can move the window again or position it freely when your task changes.

Check that the zone engine is enabled, a layout is assigned to this desktop and monitor, and you are using the correct modifier. An application running with elevated permissions may prevent movement by a launcher with different permissions.
