Configure integrations beyond opening and placing windows.
Open and act
An item opens and places an application. A supported integration can also open specific content or perform an action within that program.
Integrations displays detected actions. Without a special integration, standard placement still works.
Configure it
- Select the application.
- Open Integrations and choose an action.
- Fill in required information.
- Review when it runs: when the app is ready or after workspace launch, where both are offered.
- Test and save.
Examples
An editor may open a folder or file; Obsidian a vault or note; Spotify a selected resource or playback controls. Exact options depend on the integration.
Limits
Not every program can be fully automated. Actions may require installation, a signed-in session or a service feature available for your account.
A Spotify DJ action does not guarantee DJ is available to your account or that playback starts automatically.
If it fails, test the resource in its app and see troubleshooting.
